AGIBOT's January 6, 2026 account describes G2 commissioning at a Joyson Safety Systems factory from November 25, following its October commercial introduction with PIA Automation. The task is loading reflective seat-belt-retractor housings onto a three-pin fixture. A March 31 update places the application at Joyson's Ningbo automotive-parts factory.

AGIBOT reports success stabilizing above 99.9%, a fastest cycle of 12.97 seconds and a typical cycle around 15 seconds during development. These are supplier test results, without public event logs or an independent audit. The count of potentially suitable workstations is not an installed robot count.

This is an instructive precision-handling pilot because reflective parts and fixture alignment challenge perception and contact control together. The public account establishes customer-site commissioning and later application reporting, but not sustained plant-wide acceptance. Buyers should request the test window, retry policy, fixture tolerances and human recovery workload before comparing it with a conventional cell.
