Dongfeng Liuzhou planned a 20-robot Walker S1 deployment

Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor said in April 2025 that it planned to deploy 20 UBTECH Walker S1 robots at its Liuzhou vehicle plant during the first half of that year. The announcement followed preliminary testing and a first phase of factory training.
The proposed task list was broad: seat-belt and door-lock checks, headlight-cover and body-quality inspection, rear-hatch and interior review, fluid filling, front-axle subassembly, parts sorting, badge installation, software configuration, label printing and material handling.
