Galbot G1 runs a licensed robot pharmacy in Beijing
A named Haidian store provides an unusually concrete commercial deployment: autonomous medicine picking, checking, packing and order handoff.
In March 2026, a Galbot G1 was documented operating at the Haiwang Xingchen pharmacy on Danling Street in Beijing's Haidian District. After an online order arrives, the robot identifies and picks the medicine, checks the product, packs it and places the order in a collection locker.
The store received a pharmaceutical business license for the robot-enabled retail setup. Beijing authorities say the system also supports inventory, replenishment, traceability-code capture and expiry warnings, and is designed for 24-hour service in a 70-square-meter pharmacy. That design claim is not a published uptime result.
This site is classified as active because the named robot and store were observed in regular order fulfillment, not merely announced. Public sources do not disclose the store's order volume, human intervention rate or independently measured picking success rate.
