Galbot G1 serves drinks and hot food at Beijing’s FamilyMart Dinghao store
An April 17, 2026 on-site report names the store and observes G1 serving food; no audited shift-level productivity is available.
Beijing Daily's April 17, 2026 report places Galbot G1 in FamilyMart's Zhongguancun Dinghao store in Beijing. The reporter describes the robot taking a customer's sausage request, retrieving the item and talking with the customer during service.
The supplier describes G1 as part of the store's routine operations, with drinks, hot-food handling and customer assistance. A market-supervision account published by China Food Safety Network separately identifies the named store and food-business licensing work. Neither source supplies audited sales, shift uptime or human intervention statistics.
This case is distinct from Galbot's pharmacy warehouse: customers interact directly with the robot and food handling adds replenishment and cleaning requirements. Its significance is integration into a named retailer's workflow, not a claim that the entire store runs without people. Further evidence should separate successful handovers from restocking, cleaning, payment support and exception recovery. The city marker does not claim a geocoded storefront entrance.
