MagicLab's January 8, 2026 CES report identifies MagicBot Gen1 in multi-robot collaboration at an appliance factory. The described tasks include material transport and assembly, with the exercise used to test group scheduling.

The account does not identify the customer, city, unit count or operating dates. Its relative-time wording is also ambiguous, so the article publication is recorded separately from an unknown trial start. Las Vegas was the presentation venue and is not the factory location.

The useful claim is a physical factory-training exercise, not a signed partnership alone. It remains a pilot because routine production acceptance, task success and human intervention are unreported. Multi-robot scheduling should eventually be evaluated against station starvation, congestion and recovery time. Supplier shipment revenue and overseas sales proportions do not answer those questions and are not treated as installed-fleet evidence here.
