Industrial Applications
Editorial: Developer version supports control/locomotion experiments with public native APIs, descriptions and research simulations. Small-scene public SLAM examples, demonstrations and laboratory load ratings do not establish unattended industrial reliability or safe unguarded collaboration.
This editorial assessment concerns industrial buyer readiness. It is not an independent performance test.

Manipulation and Perception
Developer:24–50 optional physical joints, including optional two wrist axes per arm and11-physical-joint hands. Fully configured50 does not mean50 active axes; exact ordered DOF must be specified. Maximum arm load3 kg and knee130 Nm are laboratory claims; per-arm/combined arm-load basis unclear, scalar null. Standing1369×422×200 mm, folded730×422×395 mm. Printed approximately0.5 m armspan has unresolved definition; not silently corrected to another length.
Maker lists3D LiDAR, depth/binocular vision, microphone,5 W speaker/head touch,WiFi6/BT5.2. Manual identifies Livox MID360. Developer guide specifies Orin NX16 GB/512 GB; optional higher compute requires exact order.
SDK and Integration
Official native BSD C++20/Python3.10 SDK supports developer configuration, not Standard entitlement. Ubuntu22.04/GCC11.4/CMake3.16/Eigen/OpenCV4.5 suggested. SLAM API limited to feature-rich static flat indoor spaces smaller than100×100 m, intended for research/education; industrial use requires separate scope.

Safety Notes
No exact whole-system safety-integrity, stopping/fall envelope or independently validated collaborative operating mode inspected. Follow delivered instructions and controlled integration; torque, IP ratings, touch sensors and public demonstrations do not establish safe unguarded human interaction. Z1 manual requires visible operation, clearance and protective rack/rope; warns simultaneous high-level API/remote commands may destabilise body and low battery can lead to falling. Remove battery before charging.
Compliance and Certificates
| Standard | Status | Jurisdiction | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| CE marking | Unknown | European Union | Maker September IFA report targets CE-RED completion in Q4 2026; no exact signed declaration or certificate inspected. Seller promise is not achieved manufacturer certification. |
| ISO 10218 review required | Requires buyer review | International | Engineering review category, not an inspected robot certificate. Factory or public demonstrations do not establish safe industrial collaboration. |

|---|---|
| Price range | Quote-based or unverified |
| Lead time | Needs verification |
| Availability regions | China manufacturer inquiry, Europe seller catalogue; exact configuration by contract |
| Spare parts | Standard terms offer necessary parts for two years after warranty; exact battery/hand/module coverage, physical local inventory and repair turnaround unverified. |
| Warranty | Published Standard Sales Terms define 12 months from delivery for attributable defects under proper use. Falls, crushing, immersion, unauthorised parts/modification and other misuse excluded; seller chooses remedy. Replacement transit costs borne by seller under clause 8.5. Clause 8.7 offers necessary parts for two years after warranty at preferential prevailing prices, six-month cessation notice and eight-week last-order window. Confirm exact model, battery/hand exceptions, territory and signed-contract overrides; no European response SLA verified. |
| Configuration and pricing basis | Configuration quotation; seller rental/RaaS advertised |
| Distributors and service | Maker IFA report claims teams in Germany, Italy and Spain; exact addresses/repair capability unverified. Robot Distribution in France advertises purchase/rental/RaaS, parts and after-sales for Gen1/Z1/X1/D1. These are seller promises; exact OEM appointment, stock, signed declaration and local service SLA not inspected. |
